Little Jo Berry`s in Ottawa

Called with a quick question ended up having lovely convo and ordering a vegan cake

So much yummy stuff to choose from! Pop tarts, Pizza, Breakfast, Fried "Chicken" sandwiches, ICE CREAM... comfort food galore. They also make a mean Cappuccino! 😄 ♥

I very much enjoyed Little Jo's! My friend recommended me this place and I thought that their twinkie and ice cream was very good.

Cozy vegan, and possibly gluten free, bakery. Has some meal options as well(wings, pizzas, hash browns,etc). Friendly and welcoming.

Love this little, vegan bakery! I had the kale salad, my friend enjoyed the poutine lunch special. Also enjoyed the delicious scones! It is a very popular place to go! Oh, the soft serve vegan flavor was chocolate, very very good!

cute little place, such friendly staff, and yummy treats! sometimes the treats lack depth of flavour and kind of feel like eating one giant sweet dough ball, but otherwise most treats are yummy. the hot food is very good too!

Friendly service but food is terrible. What did I just pay 12 bucks for?? Pictures of sample food nicer than what I got, by far. A kale vegan soy/ egg breakfast sandwich - less than an inch -size of kale leaf , something like ketchup and mayo on a bun with some mushy, yellow ( real coloring???) soy based egg substitute. There is more bun here than anything else. And it had no taste. The latte tasted like brewed coffee with steamed milk. Not coming back. Desserts look pretty but overloaded with sugar and good color.Meh!!

One of the best vegan restaurants/bakeries in town! They serve a main course around lunch (we had "meatball" subs) and pastries throughout the day. Highly recommend the pop tarts, blueberry-lemon square and the macaroons. The café feel makes it really cute and the staff are also really great. Their faux mozzarella is famous, so check that out if there's still some left when you arrive!

The food was absolutely delicious on our visit! I had the grilled cheese/egg sandwich with kale salad, which was superb. My man had the potato wedges with hollandaise and bacon. The desserts were WAY too tempting to pass up. We appreciated that there were gluten free options. Definitely coming back the next time we are in Ottawa!

Their soft serves are OMG, to die for!!!! The only thing I would recommend the owners is to get rid of flies (something we have notice in our two last visits)

I called a few days ahead to make a cake order. The person emailing me was so helpful. I came in today to pick up the cake. It looks absolutely beautiful. Raymond was the person helping me at the cash. Really great customer service, he helped me carry my treats to my car. The food is creative and fresh. The textures and flavors are on point. A loaded selection of savory and sweet things. They have breakfast, coffee with all the "melks". I will definitely be back and 100% recommend this place. (This was my first experience) you guys are doing it well.

Saw their gluten free hollandaise bacon homefries scroll through my newsfeed as part of their all day breakfast, decided to stop in and try them for lunch. I was not disappointed. Serving size seemed small at first but it was very filling and delicious. Nice to have not only a vegan option but gluten free as well. Would definitely recommend!!!

Fantastic alternative desserts that will even get a carnivore hooked! Great quality, delicious, original and such a dream for people with intolerances. Some treats are on a sugary side but overall amazing. Support local!

Great vegan pastries, confections, and treats; they even held up well the next day without being dried up or rock hard. I also took a wedge of the cheeze. The texture was great. It could have been a bit tangy-er and saltier for my taste but was still quite tasty. I don't actually know what sort of flavour they were going for, so it may be spot on. For a mild cheese, it's excellent.

My favourite place to go for treats in Ottawa. As someone with an egg allergy it's nice to enjoy something without any worries. Every changing and creative menu keeps us coming back!

Love this vegan bakery! They have lots of delicious options for vegans (and some gluten free choices too), and they have some meals too. I love the mac n cheese options especially as a newer vegan since I find it hard to make at home. The staff are super friendly and the atmosphere is nice. 10/10 can't recommend enough!

Every time I visit this place out gets better. They're sweets are obviously their staple but their savory food outrageous! Their staff is friendly and kind and courteous and warm and so very conscientious. This is a great spot for a first date or to spend the afternoon with your baby. They're always collaborating with someone in the community or industry so you can expect amazing things at their events and the cafe!

Wonderful little gem I discovered by accident. I was very impressed to find they are vegan. Their treats look adorable and taste so good your inner child screams with joy. And their coffee is like a warm hug.

I loved this little cafe and was a must on my visit to Ottawa! Delighted with the choices I made for take away and adored the carrot cake ice cream- perfect it being easter and all!!

I love this place. Vegan with gluten free options. They sell the Mad Faux Cheese -cashew cheese and the vegan magic seasoning. From a little snack to a whole meal, they always serve 2 to 3 meal options. Order a cake for a birthday, or get multiple tiny bites.

Had been following on Instagram for a while and was excited to visit. My boyfriend and I got a milkshake each, it was like trying to drink over whipped cream. I really don’t think I am difficult with food and I don’t like to waste it but we just had a couple of sips and threw them away. Also 20 dollars for 2 milkshakes is very expensive.

Been twice now and always a pleasant experience. Had the Oat & Mill soft serve and it is absolutely delicious. Service is always super friendly, especially from Little Jo herself. The establishment is always super clean, the products well displayed. The food here is great...and oh yeah, it happens to be vegan.

Jo Berry's is a tiny but vibrant spot for coffee snacks and small meals. They have a full vegan menu with creative alternative meats and dairies. The menu changes every week so it's hard to keep track of what's on, but the staples include varieties of desserts, a different main course, salad, and breakfast a every week! They have vegan pizza and foldovers as well as amazing cake.Jo sources local and sustainable so you know that everything you get here is guilt free (unless you get a pastry and are trying to lose weight 😅).Aside from the delicious pastries she supplies and the convenient and awesome coffee, Jo supports local Artists and hosts events where she pushes forward thinking in the community.Thanks for all your hard work Jo! So many delicious things to try here!Mini pizzas were my fav. Scones second. Will definitely be back the next time I'm in Ottawa.I thought the smoked guda cheeze was good, not as rich and creamy as some others I've tried. Personally I like the denser version, but still enjoyed the Jo Berry's style with crackers.Casual place with mostly sweet treats and a few savory offerings. Coffee and espresso drinks as well.

Absolutely amazing place for vegans and non-vegans alike! Many dessert options and a few savoury food options too. Drink prices are typical of any cafe. Staff is extremely friendly, contributing to the already welcoming atmosphere. I always recommend this place to people visiting Ottawa. Only wish there was more seating available and that prices of the desserts were labeled!

Not a clean store. All food espies toInsects and bugs. When I asked them to put a cover on their cakes and exposed food, they were soOffended. Never went there again.

We went to this bakery to try the vegan ice cream and it was the best we tried yet. The place is very cute and everything seemed to be so good! We will definitely be going back soon to try pastries.

I love the vegan creations here! I get off a little late and I always try to rush to Little Jo Berry’s for the Mac & cheese or mushroom salad. I dream about their garlic sauce and scones. Staff is super friendly and cool too!
